Our Commitment to Excellence

Developing Athletes in a Supportive Setting

We believe in creating a supportive environment where young athletes can thrive. Our program emphasizes the importance of teamwork and personal growth, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to excel both on and off the field. We are dedicated to developing not just skilled football players, but well-rounded individuals.

Practices

Practice will start Monday, July 21st, on Keefe Tech’s baseball field/lower fields.  They will be held Monday through Thursday evenings from 6-8 pm. Please have your child to the field for practice by 5:45 pm. Once the Men's softball season is over, we will move to the upper fields behind Loring Arena.

YOUR CHILD SHOULD HAVE GONE TO THE BATHROOM, HAVE A LABELED WATER BOTTLE, AND BE SPRAYED WITH BUG REPELLANT.

The coaches and assistant coaches will go with the players out to the field. People who have completed a CORI Form and this form is approved and on file with FYFC are allowed on the practice fields. All other parents will watch from a viewing area where other parents are located. This is for security reasons.

Practices end at 8:00 pm a parent/guardian must physically pick up their child from the coach. If you need to make other arrangements, please let the coach know.  We encourage parents to hang around during practice, if you have to step away; please let your child’s coach know when you will be back.

Once school starts our outside practices will be held Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6-8 pm.

E-mail or update the app and let your coach know if your child is going to be absent from practice or the game.

Please note: If a player misses two practices during a week, the player will not be able to play at the game that week.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS

It is the parent’s responsibility to inform us if their child has any food or insect allergies or if he requires an inhaler. Please inform us in writing at the first practice if he has any allergies or requires an inhaler so that we can update our records accordingly.

PRACTICE ATTIRE

Each child needs ten hours of conditioning; they will wear shorts, a shirt, cleats, a mouth guard, and helmet. Once the child has completed their conditioning they will start wearing their practice jerseys, pads, football pants, cup, girdle, and mouth guard.

CANCELLATIONS

An e-mail will be sent to everyone if there is heavy rain or thunder in the area, or if Framingham Parks and Rec choose to close the fields.

UNIFORMS

We will provide players with a helmet, shoulder pads, knee pads and thigh pads, practice pants, practice jersey, and game pants.

You will be responsible for providing players with an athletic cup, football cleats, mouth guard, and athletic girdle.  (We recommend the ones that contain the hips pads, and tailbone pad.  Sometimes they come with the thigh pads included as well.  If you choose to buy a style like this then the thigh pads we provide don’t have to be worn).

GAMES

Home games will be played on Sundays at Framingham State University (FSU) football field located at 220 Maple Street.

First game will be played the weekend of Labor Day, details will be posted soon.
